You can get your omega-3s a fish-free way. Walnuts and flaxseed are good sources, and they're tasty on cereal or yogurt. But your body uses these foods' antioxidants less efficiently than the ones in fish oils.

U.S. obstetricians exercise good judgment in deciding when an emergency Caesarean section is needed.
In 1989, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists set a guideline that a hospital should have the capability of beginning an emergency Caesarean section in 30 minutes. Researchers analyzed data on 2,808 women. Virtually all of the emergency Caesareans (98 percent) met the 30-minute-or-less guideline. The report is in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
