The Rancho Santa Fe Art Guild will host a show titled “Animals in Art.” It will be judged by Derrick Cartwright, curator of the San Diego Art Museum.
Entrance is open to all artists. Cartwright will select works for the show between 9 a.m. and noon July 10 at the gallery, 6004 Paseo Delicias, Rancho Santa Fe. The show will begin the following day.
The entry fee for nonmembers is $20. There is no charge to guild members.
All work submitted must be for sale. A 15 percent commission from each sale will go to the guild.
An opening reception for the show will be from 5 to 7 p.m. July 12. Awards will be announced then.

United States 2006 Junior Amateur Championship: Volunteers are being sought for the event July 17-22 at the Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club. Volunteers must be 18 or older and can apply at www.rsfgc.com.
