Chair-exercise classes for adults will begin July 14 at the Julian branch library.
The free sessions will be from 9 to 10 a.m. every Friday through Aug. 25.
Chair exercising offers a relaxing and easy way to stretch muscles and enhance flexibility, strength and breathing. It is designed for the older, less mobile person but can be enjoyed by anyone wanting to start a regular exercise routine.
Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing, bring along two bath towels and bottled water.
The library is at 1850 state Route 78, Julian. For more information, call (760) 765-0370.
